Virginia Dealer Board Issues New Record Keeping Guidelines
At the September meeting of the Virginia Motor Vehicle Dealer Board (MVDB) there was much discussion about the proposed update to the Records Storage Variance Policy. Based on that discussion, MVDB has drafted formal guidelines that were put in place this month, commencing Oct. 1, 2007. The new –Guidelines For Maintaining Records Off-Site: and a Background (_46.2-1529. Dealer records) are enclosed with this Bulletin.
