NADA Elects Kentucky Auto Dealer Jack Kain As 2005 Chairman; South Carolina Dealer William Bradshaw Elected Vice Chairman
NADA has elected Jack Kain as its 2005 chairman. Kain is owner of Jack Kain Ford, in Versailles, KY, and Kain Family Ford/Lincoln-Mercury, in London, KY. William H. Bradshaw, president of Bradshaw Automotive Group, in Greer, SC, was elected as NADA’s 2005 vice chairman.
I look forward to working with dealers across the country to build on NADA’s strong record of accomplishment, said Kain. This year, NADA has undertaken major initiatives, including national campaigns to increase public understanding of auto financing and to raise awareness of child passenger safety seats.
A new-car dealer since 1952, Kain is NADA’s 2004 vice chairman as well as finance chairman of DEAC. He also has served on the association’s Convention, Guide, Used Car and NADART (retirement trust) committees and Insurance Trust board of directors.
Vice Chairman-elect Bradshaw, an automobile dealer since 1979, is chairman of NADA’s Industry Relations Committee. He also serves on the South Carolina Automobile Dealers Association’s board of directors. In 1997, Bradshaw was named the South Carolina Dealer of the Year and received the Time Magazine Quality Dealer Award.
Kain and Bradshaw will assume office at NADA’s Convention and Exposition, in New Orleans, January 29-February 1, 2005.
The election was held at NADA’s board of directors meeting in California, October 20, 2004. Other NADA officers elected were: Leonard Northcutt, Enid, OK, Treasurer; and Steve West, Alcoa, TN, Secretary.
