N.A.D.A. Official Used Car Guide Co. Gets New Name

After 74 years, the N.A.D.A. Official Used Car Guide Co. has changed its name. From now on the company will be known as NADA Analytical Services Group (NADA ASG). As part of the rebranding the logo has been redesigned and NADA ASG has spiffed up its corporate website, stationery design, and marketing pieces.A new tagline, –Accelerating Vehicle Information,” ties into the companyês new analytical products that were launched at the convention.

–This new logo and name, and the tagline, better reflect our positioning as an end-to-end solutions provider for our customers,” said Mike Stanton, vice president and chief operating officer of NADA ASG. –Everybody recognizes the little yellow book, and I want to make it clear that the yellow book does not changeãand our core competency doesnêt change [either].”

Cutting-Edge Data Analysis

In other NADA ASG news, the company introduced its latest product, AutoVector. The cutting-edge web-based business intelligence application enables analysis on AuctionNet wholesale transactional data, used-car valuations, and key macro-economic indicators. Data sets available include AuctionNet wholesale data and used-vehicle values from the N.A.D.A. Official Used Car Guide as well as economic data for overlay. A predefined set of charts and graphs is included, allowing for data manipulation and personalized monitoring of industry trends, major pricing impacts, and residuals. Also standard: dashboards with key performance indicators that include frequently pulled data to use as reference points.

New Forecasting Tool

NADA ASG and RVI Analytical Services (RVIAS) have also joined together to create Portfolio Online, a new and unique forecasting tool primarily for the leasing and banking industry.The web-based service will offer NADA’s trade-in, loan, and retail used-vehicle valuations, combined with RVIAS’s future forecast and wholesale values at lease-end, based on the VIN plus analytical estimates on the likelihood of full-term lease returns. Portfolio Online offers reports by make and model as well as info to help improve management processes, strategic planning, and auditing. It also provides for accurate used-vehicle valuations and expected end-of-term values, making it a complete single source for lease portfolio tracking and transactions.
