Fitzgerald Auto Malls today announced that it has earned Gold-level certification under the Montgomery County Green Business Certification Program, administered by Bethesda Green in partnership with the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection. With this achievement, Fitzgerald becomes Montgomery County’s first certified Green Dealer.
The certification recognizes businesses that demonstrate a measurable, ongoing commitment to reducing their environmental impact through initiatives such as energy efficiency, waste reduction and recycling, environmentally responsible purchasing, and sustainable business practices. Participating businesses are evaluated and certified at one of four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum, based on the depth and effectiveness of their environmental efforts.
