Dealers Invited to Adopt-A-Youth Entrepreneur Breakfast, May 2

Dealers are encouraged to join with WANADA in support of the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurshipês Fifth Annual Adopt-A-Youth Entrepreneur Breakfast, Thursday May 2, at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, 2660 Woodley Rd., NW, Washington, D.C.

Hosted by the Foundationês Greater Washington DC chapter, the event will begin with a Youth Trade Showcase at 8:00 am, followed by breakfast and a presentation that profiles the achievements of NFTE Washington youth entrepreneurs and serves as a unique opportunity for these young people to interact with top business leaders from the Washington area.

NFTE is a world leader in teaching low-income youth to become economically productive members of society by improving their academic, business, information technology and life skills through entrepreneurship education. Nationally, NFTE has reached over 40,000 young people and trained more than 2,000 teachers and youth workers in 43 states and 14 countries. Since its inception in 1994, NFTE-Greater Washington DC has served more than 5,000 youth from this region.

NFTE’s mission is synergistic with WANADAês efforts to expand its technician training programs, and accordingly is worthy of dealer support. Tickets to the Adopt-A-Youth Fundraisers Breakfast are $150. Corporate table sponsorships are available at the $5,000 or $2500 level. Those sponsors contributing $5,000 or more will have their logos printed in the Washington Business Journal.
