Collect 1% registration fee on the sale price of the vehicle.

Vehicle cost = $25,000

Processing Fee = $300

Amount to Collect for NVTA = $250 ($25,000 times 1%)

Beginning March 1st for the NVTA:

Collect 1% registration fee on the sale price of the vehicle PLUS any processing fee you charge.

Processing Fee = $300

Amount to Collect for NVTA = $253 ($25,300 times 1%)
