Bills have been introduced in both chambers of the Maryland legislature calling for the adoption of the California Low Emissions Vehicle Program. The bills, SB 366 and HB 564, are strongly opposed by both MNCTDA and WANADA, which are calling on all Maryland dealers to contact their legislators immediately!
Contacting legislators is crucial to killing these proposals, and legislators need to hear from their constituents. Talking points prepared by MNCTDA are enclosed with this WANADA Bulletin.
To make your voice heard, go to http://www.mnctda.org, click on the econstituent link, enter the password: mnctda, pick either the editable or non-editable letter under the Take Action heading, enter your contact information and send the e-mail to all legislators on the Senate and House committees. Phone numbers and addresses are also available should you choose to contact your legislator in another manner.
