Dealers preparing for the 2006 NADA convention in Orlando, Feb. 11-14, can expect a distinguished lineup of speakers, including BMW USA Chairman and CEO Tom Purves and former Secretary of State Gen. Colin Powell. New workshops and more than 600 exhibitors will also make the 2006 show one of the biggest ever. Other highlights include:
Minority dealers breakfast, Monday, Feb. 13. This new event will be held at the Peabody Hotel at 7:30 a.m., and Nathan Conyers, a pioneering African-American dealer and founder of the National Association of Minority Automobile Dealers, will keynote. Dealers are invited to the American Financial Services Associationês 10th Annual Vehicle Finance Conference & Exposition at Walt Disneyês Yacht Club Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. It will be held Feb. 8-10, 2006, just before the NADA convention. Attendees will meet manufacturing and finance industry leaders and experts and learn how AFSA, NADA and other groups are working together to improve public perception of the retail auto industry.
