The Washington Auto Show is a week earlier in 2014
[I]Industry/Media Day on-site, Wed. Jan 22; Public Days, Jan. 23-Feb. 2[I]This years Auto Show in Washington is open to the public one day longer than last year and is previewing to the media and industry a week earlier than last year, which was delayed because of Presidential Inauguration actives in Washington.
Confirmed highlights for the 2014 Washington Auto Show are these:
Mark Fields, COO of Ford Motor Company, will keynote Industry/Media Day onsite at the Auto Show, Wed. morning, Jan. 22.
Ten advanced technology finalists are competing for the Green Car Journal Award to be presented on Jan. 22, to include: the Acura sports hybrid SH-AWD powertrain; the Audi 3.0 liter TDI diesel engine; BMW i 3CFRP passenger cell; Cadillac ELR Regen on demand; Ford 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine; Honda Accord, plug-in powertrain; Hyundai fuel cell; Mazda i-ELOOP brake energy regeneration system; Porsche plug-in hybrid power train; and the Ram Truck 3.0 litre Eco Diesel. The winner will be announced by Green Car Journal publisher Ron Cogan on Industry/Media Day on site, Jan. 22. At least two presidential cabinet secretaries are working out scheduling to attend Industry/Media Day, Jan. 22.
