9:00 AM Tuesday, Aug. 21, Bethesda Marriott[/I]
There is still time to sign up for WANADAs dealer briefing on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (a.k.a. ObamaCare) scheduled for next Tuesday morning at the Bethesda Marriott (9 am, August 21). With the vast workplace implications of ObamaCare in mind, WANADA has assembled a distinguished panel of knowledgeable professionals from various sectors who will take WANADA dealers and their key managers through the myriad of complex administrative and legal aspects of this law.
Panelists are as follows: Richard Morris, CPA, MST, Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell; Rodger Bayne, vice president, Group Benefit Services (GBS); Tammy Killion, Esq., Groom Law Group; and David Regan, Esq., director, NADA Legislative Affairs.
A big part of the challenge for small business employers, who will play a major role in ObamaCare, continuing as they will to provide health care coverage to their employees, is the widespread confusion right now over things like employer obligations, employee rights, the role of the government, the role of health care providers, and how the insurance industry fits in. These subjects will be expertly addressed by WANADAs ObamaCare panel so that attendees will leave the briefing knowing what they need to between now and the 2014 implementation date. But what will be the impact on ObamaCare after the fall elections if the Republicans regain the White House and the Senate and hold onto their majority in the House? Come by the briefing and find out!
This briefing is being billed as timely and important by WANADA for its members and as such it is being offered on a complimentary basis (no charge) for dealer executives who sign up (courtesy of WANADA Employee Benefits Program). Once again, arrangements are set for 9 am to Noon, Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the Bethesda Marriott.
