FTC drops requirement for alternative fuel vehicle sticker

The Federal Trade Commission has dropped the requirement that new and used alternative-fuel vehicles carry a special label. NADA had advocated for the change, arguing that the FTC label duplicated information on EPAs revised fuel economy label. The rule becomes effective May 31, 2013.
